Alongside the degree batches we take school mathematics from class 6 to class 12, for CBSE and ICSE students. School batches run in earlier slots than the college ones, so the rooms are quieter and the age groups do not mix.
The Years Nobody Should Skip
Classes 6 to 8 are the years that quietly decide how class 10 goes. Fractions, ratio, integers, basic algebra and mensuration are not exciting, and they are easy to scrape through without really understanding. But a student who is shaky on manipulating fractions will find algebraic fractions in class 9 genuinely hard, and a student who never got comfortable with negative numbers will lose marks for years without knowing why.
So in the middle years we spend our time on fluency rather than on rushing ahead. It is unglamorous and it works.
Class by Class
Classes 6 to 8 — Foundation
Integers, fractions and decimals, ratio and proportion, percentage, simple algebra and linear equations, lines and angles, triangles, mensuration, and data handling. Worked from the NCERT text, with extra practice where a topic has not settled.
Classes 9 and 10 — The Board Build-Up
Number systems, polynomials, linear equations in two variables, quadratic equations, arithmetic progressions, coordinate geometry, triangles and circles, trigonometry and its applications, surface areas and volumes, statistics and probability. From class 9 onwards we introduce timed practice, because board marks are lost to time management at least as often as to not knowing the method.
Classes 11 and 12 — Senior Mathematics
Sets, relations and functions, trigonometric functions, sequences and series, straight lines and conic sections, limits and derivatives, permutations and combinations, probability; then in class 12, inverse trigonometric functions, matrices and determinants, continuity and differentiability, applications of derivatives, integrals and their applications, differential equations, vectors, three-dimensional geometry, linear programming and probability.
Class 12 mathematics is also the bridge into a B.Tech or a BCA. We teach it knowing where these students are going next, which is an advantage of sitting in a centre that teaches engineering mathematics in the next slot.
How School Batches Are Run
Small batches, with the same teacher through the year rather than a rotation. Regular written practice, because mathematics is not learned by watching. Extra sessions before half-yearly and board exams. Honest feedback to parents — if a student is not doing the work, you will hear it from us early rather than at the end of the year.
Science as Well, to Class 10
For classes 6 to 10 we teach science too — same room, same small batches, same teacher. A good many families here take both, and it is worth knowing before you arrange tuition for the two subjects in two different places.
There is a practical reason it works rather than just being convenient. A large share of the marks lost in class 9 and 10 physics and chemistry go to arithmetic and algebra rather than to the science itself. When one person teaches both subjects, that weakness gets spotted in the maths class and fixed there, instead of being drilled around in the science one.

Common Questions
Which boards do you teach?
CBSE and ICSE. The mathematics overlaps heavily; what differs is the paper pattern and the weight given to particular topics, and we teach to the pattern your child will actually sit.
My child is in class 9 and already behind. Is it too late?
No. Class 9 is a good moment to fix a gap, precisely because the class 10 board is still a year away. What we will do is find where the gap actually starts — which is often two or three years earlier than parents expect — and close it, rather than pushing ahead over the top of it.
Do you take students only for board classes?
We take classes 6 to 12. In practice classes 10 and 12 fill first, but the students who do best in the board years are usually the ones who joined in class 8 or 9.
